Zip Archive We use the term Zip Archive to refer to the various types of Zip Archives you can save under the Zip menu item. If you make a zip file outside RunDynam, that zip file is not a Zip Archive. You should restore files from a Zip Archive made by RunDynam using the Restore menu items under the Zip menu. You will want to make a Zip archive for two main reasons. •Suppose you have finished a project and want to be able to store all the files in a form which allows you to reproduce the results at some time in the future. Then ask RunDynam to make a Zip archive and back that up to a safe place. If, in the future, you need to recreate your results, use RunDynam to restore from the Zip Archive and then rerun all the simulations. •Suppose you want to send your scenario to a colleague. Then ask RunDynam to make a Zip archive and send that Zip Archive to your colleague. Your colleague can ask RunDynam to restore from the Zip Archive and then can run all the simulations. Your colleague will get exactly the same results as you have. In this case, your colleague does not need to have GEMPACK since your model EXE is included in the Zip archive. Note that, if you are using GEMSIM to solve the model, your colleague must have exactly the same version of GEMSIM as you have in order for this scenario transfer to work.
