What was new in RunGTAP 1998

Following features were added February 1998:

•Details of experiments (closure, shocks, experiment description, parameter file and solution method) may be stored in EXP files.

•Version Archives for storing a snapshot of your work or exchanging experiments with other RunGTAP users.

•User can edit shocks and closure directly, or paste into them.

•Ranges of available closures and versions no longer hard-wired.

•Choose any solution method, rather than one of a small range.

•User can choose from a range of parameter files to use in simulations.

•User can edit the parameter file and save it with a new name for future use.

•User can save and reload closures and experiments as well as shocks.

•Option to save all solution outputs at once in a ZIP

•Option to save in a ZIP all the files needed to replicate a RunGTAP simulation using WinGEM.

•Simple procedures to replicate a WinGEM simulation using RunGTAP.

•Special File dialogs ensure that user opens or creates files with the right extension in the right subdirectory, and display a one line description of each file.

•More opportunities to print and copy.

•May view the condensation STI file.

•Task of version developer greatly eased.

•Cannot view Results page till solution has been made.
