The GEMPACK Modelling System

GEMPACK is a suite of general-purpose economic modelling software especially suitable for formulating and solving general equilibrium models. The user specifies the economic behaviour in algebraic form and supplies data defining some initial solution of the model: GEMPACK will find new solutions of the model corresponding to different values for the exogenous variables. It also contains a range of utility programs for viewing and manipulating economic data and the results of simulations. On Windows PCs, GEMPACK may be manipulated via a visual interface, WinGEM.
