Restoring from Results Zip Files If you wish to restore files from a Results Zip file, you should do this via menu item Restore files from Results Zip under the Zip menu. Ideally, you should only restore results from a Results Zip file when you have already loaded the simulation details which were present when these results were produced. •If you produced the simulation results, you can do this via the Load Simulation Details item under the File menu. •If you obtained this Results Zip file from a colleague, presumably that colleague also sent you a ZIP archive of the simulation. If so, restore the ingredients from this ZIP archive (and make those simulation details current) before you restore the files from the Results Zip file. When you restore files from a Results Zip file, you will be asked what directory to unzip the files into. Results Zip files contain records of the runs (times and dates when the files were created) which produced these files. These records of the runs are the .DS3, .DS4 and .DS5 files. These Record of Run files contain the full file names (that is, including drive and directory names) of the files created. As well as recording the times and dates of results files, these Record of Run files record the location (and time and date) of input files such as the Model and starting Data files. When you restore results, you will be asked if you want these Record of Run files restored. If so, you are asked whether or not you want the directory names associated with the files changed to reflect the directory you are currently working in. If you are restoring the results files to a directory which is different to the one the files were created in, you should ask to have the directory names in these Record of Run files changed to reflect your current working directory -- click on the Change button to do this. This change will also update the record of input files such as the Model files and starting Data files to reflect where they are now located. Suppose that you archived several applications (the ingredients in ZIP archives) and results from them (in Results Zip files). Suppose that you now want to restore these applications and these results, and want to check if the results are still ok (via menu item Are Results Still Ok?) under the Tasks menu. If you are restoring the results into a directory which is different from the one in which the results were created, you should ask to have the directory names in the Record of Run files changed to reflect the directory into which you are restoring the files.
