Results Depend on All Inputs

When checking that results are still ok or where to start or that prerequisites are ok, the software makes the (hopefully reasonable) assumption that the results depend only on the complete set of inputs to the total process.

That is, the results depend only on the

•model files and input data files for the first year,

•information on the Sim Overview page,

•information on the Closure/Shocks page and the actual files there and their actual constituents,

•the relevant CMFSTART files, and

•the relevant Options (namely, whether or not you are rerunning the Base with the Policy closures, and whether or not you are using SOL files for shocks in the Rerun and Policy).

[Fine print about the Closure/Shocks page. The results for any year number of the Base depend only on the Base part of that page up to and including that year number. However the results for any year number of the Rerun or the Policy depend on the Base part of that page up to that year number and on the Policy part of that page from the first year in which there is a Policy shock up to that year number.]
