Rename Set

The RenameSet button allows you to change the name of a set. If the operation is legal, all occurrences of the selected set in every real matrix (RE) header of the file will have the name changed to the new name. The Set Library will then be closed.

A command-line program, RenSet.exe, does a similar job. It is among the "bonus" programs you can download from here.

Some limitations are:

•the selected set must be the only set of that name. If the set library contains a set COM length 23 and another set COM length 27, the set COM cannot be renamed.

•the new name cannot be the name of an already existing set.

•sets stored in 1C headers are only renamed if their description follows the approved pattern.

•descriptions of mappings are not altered.
