TABLO Code

The TABLO Code button has the same effect as TABLO Check, except that if no errors are found it goes on to generate the code needed to actually run the model. It generates either FORTRAN code or GEMSIM code according to the setting in Options..Code and other menu item.

TABmate will optionally compile and link the FORTRAN code (see LTG). Or you can use the LTG command from the command prompt.

If you generate code, TABLO also generates a model information (MIN) file. This is needed for the closure command to work.

Use TABLO Code to process TABLO programs for manipulating data (without equations or variables). For older economic models, you may often need TABLO from STI, since in legacy models the condensation which most models need is specified in a STI file. More modern models include the condensation within the TAB file -- so TABLO Code can be used for these.
