Setting the GPTEMP Environment Variable

You can set the Environment variable GPTEMP to control where RunDynam writes its temporary files. It is best to set this to a short directory name which does not contain spaces or non-English characters. For example, you could set:

GPTEMP to C:\MyTemp

Make sure that you are allowed to write files in the directory to which GPTEMP points.

To see what Environment variables are set, open a Command prompt and type SET or SET | more.

To set Environment variables in Windows XP, select My Computer, then right-mouse-click and select Properties | Advanced | Environment Variables

In Windows 7 you can set environment variables by selecting from Windows:

Start | Control Panel | System | Advanced | Environment Variables
