Jobs Log File

This records the start and end time and date for each part of the job (for example, when the simulation for year 3 of the Base started and ended). Normally this Jobs Log File will only be of interest if problems occur (for example, when two jobs are allowed concurrently). Otherwise you probably do not need to keep a Jobs Log File.

You control whether or not a Jobs Log File is being created via menu item Add to Jobs Log File under the Run Preferences menu. [The Jobs Log File is only added to if this it checked.]

If you are adding to the Jobs Log File, the file can become very large. You should restart it periodically by selecting menu item Restart Jobs Log File under the Run Preferences menu. [This deletes the existing file and starts a new one.]

The Jobs Log File is called BIGJOBS.LOG. It is in the Keep Directory.

You can view the Jobs Log File by clicking on menu item View Jobs Log File under the Run Preferences menu.
