Installation

Brief installation instructions will normally be sent with the RunDynam files. The installation process will install the following files needed by RunDynam itself.

In the main RunDynam directory:

RUNDYNAM.EXE (the executable image of RunDynam),

RUNDYNAM.CHM  (the Help file),

GRABSCRN.EXE (used to grab error messages from the screen)

These files should all be placed in the same directory.

In addition, RunDynam is always distributed with one or more Zip Archives of containing simulation details for one or more models. These can be placed anywhere on the hard disk (though are most easily accessible to users of RunDynam if they are placed in a subdirectory ARCHIVE of the directory in which RunDynam is installed). These are used in getting started with RunDynam.

A shortcut on the desktop (or elsewhere) should be provided to RUNDYNAM.EXE so that RunDynam can be launched easily.

Some model-specific versions of this software require a few additional files.
