Log Files for Different Jobs

There are LOG files (which are put into the Working Directory) for each of the main jobs. Each of these log files consists of the log files for the different parts of the job.

Below we give LOG file names assuming that the 3-character Sim Names (on the Sim Overview page) are BS1 for the Base, BR1 for the Rerun and PL1 for the Policy, and assume that you are rerunning the Base with the Policy closures.

•The LOG file for the whole sim job (with parts sim and sol) for year 2002 of the Policy is called BS1B-BR1R-PL1P-2002.LOG. This consists of the log file for the sim part followed by the log file for the sol part. This is the file you will see if you ask to View the log file for a given year on the Results for Individual Years part of the Results page.

•The LOG file for the whole bot job for year 2002 is called BS1B-BR1R-2002-BOT.LOG. This consists of the log files for the relevant parts of the bot job.

•The LOG file for the whole spreadsheet job (made up of the csv, accum and possibly devia jobs) for the Policy is called BS1B-BR1R-PL1P-SS.LOG. This consists of the log files for the relevant parts of these jobs.
