Command files (CMF files)

Command files (they have suffix .CMF) are text files used by GEMPACK to specify the details of a simulations (closure, shocks, and names of input and output files). See the GEMPACK User Documentation for details.

Command files are written by this program, one for each year of the Base Case, one for each year of the Base Rerun (if you are rerunning the Base simulations with the policy closures) and one for each year of the Policy simulations.

Each Command file contains details of the model, input data files for that years simulation and output files. The model and first year input files are as shown on the Model/Data page.

The closure and shocks files listed on the Closure/Shock page, are used in the appropriate Command file.

If you wish to include a series of statements (for example, options which give a starting value to the number of non-zeros MMNZ) in every Command file, you can use a file called CMFSTART. in the working directory.
