Menu Items on the AnalyseGE Form

If you click on View | Sets, Subsets, Variables, Coefficients you will see detailed information about the sets (including their elements) and subsets. Under the "Variables" tab of the form displayed you will see information about the variables AND coefficients; you will see their names, the sets over which they range and the associated labelling information (taken from the TAB file).

In the View menu there are items Command file and TABLO STI file. You can click on these to see the Command file used to carry out the simulation which produced the Solution file, or to see the STI file used to condense the model when TABLO was run. [These files are shown in the TABmate window.]

In the View menu there is item Accuracy Summary. If the Solution file you are loading was produced by Release 9 (or later) of GEMPACK, you can view the Accuracy Summary information from the original simulation via this menu item. If your simulation used only one subinterval you will see the variable and overall data accuracy summaries. If your simulation used more than one subinterval, you will just see the Overall Accuracy Summary for the variables (no information about the data will be shown). See the GEMPACK manual for more details.

If the solution you are analysing comes from modifying the equations of a model whose LHS Matrix is structurally singular, you can view the number and names of the modified equations and variables via the Structurally Singular Information .

The Front menu allows you to bring either the TABmate or the ViewHAR form to the front.

The Options menu lets you change some of the program options. These relate to

the GEMPACK licence,

the directory for temporary files,

distinguishing exogenous and endogenous variables on the TABmate form,

the value of an expression if a condition is false,

whether or not you want to load a linearised TAB file when the original TAB file contains levels equations, and

whether or not you want to be offered the option of saving text and HA files when you close AnalyseGE.
