Syntax and Semantic Checking and Error Reports Most necessary checking is being done. However the error reports are very rudimentary. The program stops checking after the first error. It will give the type of error but, at present, does not indicate the position of the error in the expression. If the error message refers to a User error, that is something you should be able to fix. If, however, the error message refers to an Internal error, that indicates a programming error, which is something you will not be able to fix directly: if you can’t work around it, please pass on the details to the developers of AnalyseGE. There are some other restrictions on the sorts of statements which can currently be handled by AnalyseGE. If you are selecting expressions from the TABmate form and an error occurs, it may help to bring the AnalyseGE form to the front since the expression being checked is shown in the memo on that form.
