Restrictions on Statements Allowed at Present

There are now no restrictions on the statements that you can select expressions from for evaluation. [Now AnalyseGE can handle, and evaluate, expressions involving set mappings, conditions, functions and integer coefficients.]

However you cannot evaluate the values of expressions containing :

•Variables which are substituted out (but backsolved variables and omitted variables are ok).

•The function RANDOM allowed in TAB files. [By its very nature, the values of this function vary from time to time, so you would probably get a different value if you tried to evaluate this under AnalyseGE than was obtained when GEMSIM or the TABLO-generated program was run.]

Despite this, you can select and evaluate expressions not involving these from TABLO statements which do contain variables that are substituted out.
