RunMONASH was a Windows interface which provides an environment specially tailored for carrying out forecasts and policy deviations with recursive dynamic models. It is now identical to RunDynam.
We have made available (for use with the Demonstration Verson of RunDynam) some applications based on the MONASH model of Australia. These applications are different versions of the Motor Vehicle Tariff application which is the main application of the MONASH model in the MONASH Model Book.
In particular you can use the demonstration version of RunDynam to replicate the results of Motor Vehicle Tariff application, as described in the MONASH Model Book.
You can also use the Demonstration Version of RunDynam to solve the Motor Vehicle Tariff application under rational expectations.
We have made avaiable an example application Demonstration Version of RunDynam based on a dynamic version ORANIG-RD of the ORANI-G model for use with RunDynam. If this is the first time you have used RunDynam, and if your main interest is in finding out about the software, we recommend that you start with this ORANIG-RD application since it is more straightforward than the MONASH application referred to above. However if your main interest is in the MONASH model, you should go ahead with the RunMONASH Demonstration Version.
Download the motor vehicle tariff application. This also contains instructions for running this application using RunDynam.
