WARNING: This Linux version was prepared as part of the 2002 GEMPACK Release 8, and has not been updated since. We have not tested it with recent Linux distributions. Unfortunately the compiler used to produce it (Kylix) is no longer supported.
The Demonstration Version of GEMPACK for Linux is available for for X-86 PCs. This Demonstration version has been tested using RedHat Linux version 7 and Mandrake 8.0. Other Linux variants might be compatible if they include kernel 2.2.10 or later and libc version 2.2.
There are several parts making up the Demonstration Version.

Installation instructions for the Demonstration version of GEMPACK for Linux are contained in GEMPACK document GPD-10 which you should download. [Installation of the Demonstration Version for Linux is the same as for the Executable-Image version of GEMPACK, except that you do not need a GEMPACK licence.]
The Demonstration GEMPACK programs are restricted to use with small models.
You can use either an installation shell script or the RPM Package Manager to install the GEMPACK programs (tablo, gemsim, gempie, sagem, modhar, seehar, mkhar, rwhar).
