Making Sure GEMPACK Programs Find Your GEMPACK Licence

On Windows PCs, GEMPACK programs look for the GEMPACK licence as follows.

• If the Environment Variable GPDIR is set, the program looks in the directory pointed to by GPDIR for the file LICEN.GEM
• If the Environment Variable GPDIR is not set, the program looks in the directory C:\GP for the file LICEN.GEM

So your licence file must always be called LICEN.GEM (even if we send it to you with a different name).
