The purpose of the coloring is to highlight anomalous numbers which might merit further investigation. The cells are coloured according to a scheme suggested by Robert McDougall. Numbers which are bigger than expected are tinted yellow; numbers which are smaller than expected are tinted blue; unexpected negatives are coloured mauve; "boring" numbers are coloured grey.
