Make ZIP Archive

A ZIP archive is a convenient way to backup up your work, or to transport important files to another machine. Usually you only want to archive certain important files, which would enable you to recreate your project later. The Tools..Make ZIP Archive menu item launches a dialog for selecting and deleting these files.

The list at right shows all the files in the current directory. The large Archive button saves all the selected (blue) files. Click on files to select or deselect them.

The initial selection is controlled by the list of masks at bottom left. By default these masks will select files which usually are worth backing up. However, you should review the selection to make sure all the files which you want to archive are selected. You can click on the masks to alter them -- changes will be saved for later sessions.
