Bookmarks

Click on the text, then right-click -- a menu appears which lets you set a bookmark. The View Bookmarks command shows a list of bookmarked lines [most recent at top] which you can click to jump to. TABmate also creates bookmarks automatically when you jump around a file. The bookmarks are not saved to disk: they last only for the current session.

You can also see the View Bookmarks window by clicking on the small panel at bottom left of TABmate which shows current line no.

Hint: do not bookmark blank lines -- choose lines which will jog your memory when you see them again.

The keyboard command Ctrl+Shift+<num>  creates a different type of bookmark  and Ctrl+<num> jumps there; but these bookmarks are not listed in the View Bookmarks window.
