Block Selection Mode

Use Edit..Block Selection (or Ctrl-Alt-B) to enter or leave Block Selection mode -- which allows you to select column blocks with the mouse or arrow keys.

In column block mode:

•Copy copies the selected block to clipboard

•Delete key removes selected block

•Cut is equivalent to Copy followed by Delete

•Paste inserts the column at the current cursor position.

If using the feature for the first time, experiment a little to see how it works.

When finished, use Edit..Block Selection to leave Block Selection mode.
