When is the BOT Job Run?

The BOT job for any year is run just before the simulation for that year of the Policy or of the Rerun.

The BOT job for a given year is not always run even if the simulation for the Policy or the Rerun for that year is being run.

If you are not doing the Rerun, the BOT job for any year is always run if you are doing the Policy simulation for that year.

If you are doing the Rerun,

•if you are running the simulations for both the Rerun and the Policy for any year, the BOT job is always done just before the first of these.

•if you are only running one of the Rerun and Policy simulations for a given year, the BOT job is done only if the software judges that the results produced will be different from the results when the BOT job was last run (or if the software believes that this BOT job has never been run before or has not been run in sequence).
