Making Log Files Visible During a Run

By default, RunDynam uses -lon on the command line to produce its LOG files. A consequence is that the LOG file is not visible if you click on the DOS box in which the job (for example, the simulation for one year) is running.

If you select the option Log Files Visible During Run, the program uses -log on the Command line instead of -lon. In that case, if you click on the DOS box in which the job is running, you can see how far the job has progressed.

Using -log may slow down the runs ever so slightly.

See the GEMPACK documentation for details about -lon and -log.
