GEMPACK Licence may be required

If the model you are solving has a large number of sectors or regions, the GEMPACK program used to solve the your model may require a GEMPACK licence.

For example, if you are working with the MONASH model of Australia, you will not require a GEMPACK licence if your data base has less than about 26 sectors. However, if your data base has 100 sectors (or significantly more than 40), you will require an Introductory GEMPACK licence (Release 7.0 or later) or a Large-simulations GEMPACK licence (Release 6.0), or a more powerful GEMPACK licence (for example, a Source-code or Executable-image licence).

If your simulation is large enough to require at least an Introductory GEMPACK licence and you do not have such a licence, this program will report that your simulation ended with an error. The LOG file displayed on your screen will indicate clearly that you need a GEMPACK licence.

To obtain an Introductory GEMPACK licence (the cost is approximately $AUD350), you must contact the GEMPACK distributors.
