Syntax Changes for Dynamic Information Files

With Version 1.4 (February 2000) there have been small changes in the syntax of Dynamic Information files to make them more robust and easier to use.

•The main change is for lagged input files. After lagged-input usage the logical file name is now required. Previously the number of this file was required. For example, the line in the Dynamic Information File for the MONASH model for logical file EXTRA5 used to read

file EXTRA5 key EX5 lagof extra role lagged-input usage 3 1 2 2 ;

but now must read

file EXTRA5 key EX5 lagof extra role lagged-input usage EXTRA 1 2 2 ;

•Now lines beginning with an exclamation mark ! are treated as comments.
