Argenteola Award for best GEMPACK bug-reporter

The generous bequest of the late Professor Plusiotis Argenteola (Federal University of Roraima) has made possible the annual award of a Gold Medal for best GEMPACK bug-reporter, subject to the following conditions and criteria:

  1. The award shall be made annually during January.
  2. Weight shall be given to the number and quality of bugs submitted during the previous calendar year, with special emphasis on clarity of description.
  3. Only new (un-reported) bugs that are reproducible at CoPS count towards the award.
  4. Any person who wins the medal 3 times is thereafter ineligible for the award.
  5. Brusque or aggressive bug reports shall result in instant disqualification.
